If I had that BIG V* I'd be showen it OFF also Keeping under the hood low KEY for now I'm not showen it to much work keeping it that clean But it is really Nice Just got me 4 more pieces of bling. Thanks Mister Lupe

Wow, LadyBug gets awesome underhood bling and now Skip does his caliper covers. LadyBugsMom - if you don't mind me asking how much did they charge you for the painting? (I think Lightning likes peeking under LadyBugs hood ) The matching red looks soooo good.

Skip - did you do that yourself? Cause the way you have them laid out there for the pic it makes me think you done it yerself.

And Ruby - did you manage to not have rain messing up your new driveway? Is Ruby in the garage yet? Driveway looks really good.

The engine cover paint was $245 (which is about $200 less than other quotes I've seen...) but I also had charges for painting the cai ($250 - some serious labor to sand away the texture on the tube!), and the cai itself, with install - grand total just over $1k. Exactly half of the tax refund. Don't know what Rob's gonna do with his half.... If he doesn't make up his mind soon, it's gonna be gambling money for Tahoe....

Speaking of Tahoe, our trip is only a month away now!! Jay, Linda, Gary/Maggie, and Janet/Glen - I am more excited that you can even imagine! Our first annual (I hope there's more, so I'm calling it that for now) west coast old fart get together!! WCOFGTG.... hmmm... need a better acronym. West Coast Old Fart Fest. WCOFF. There. That's better. WCOFF1.

We have a small block of rooms booked for that weekend; I think there are 5 left and if any of our Ol' Fart Thread mates is interested in flying or driving in, please PM me and I'll be happy to provide the details. The only hitch is that of the remaining reserved rooms, as of May 8th, those rooms will be released back to the hotel and available to be reserved by the general public.

The rain held off, they finished the job but no Ruby is still standing guard at the front of the house. It has to dry for at least 5 days before you can drive on it. pics here: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=207882&page=6

Vince, we're looking forward to meeting you and the other Northern Nevada Ol' Farts! The itinerary is still a work in progress and I hope you don't mind if we'll be coming to you and the NNMMC for advice and suggestions. To my knowledge, everyone who has reserved rooms thus far is driving in. I'll have the shortest drive at about 450 Miles.

Vince and I are really looking forward to meeting you guys/gals next month! It's a short trip for us since we already live here in vacation land! WOOT-WOOT!! From my motorcyle club ride days, I know ALL the awesome scenic mountain roads for fun and adventure, if that might be an option that you might consider.
