Started the year at 174. Got up to around 190. Let myself believe that it was some muscle gain as I didn't feel out of shape. Went to put on my dress uniform for work one day and the pants wouldn't quite fit the way they did when the year began. Finally admitted to myself it was more fat gain than muscle so rededicated myself and am now back down to 172. Now to finish the journey and get down to the 160-165 I want and stay there.

Just don't get too skinny.

Tone and in shape = good

Skinny with no curves = bad

You go Joanne , But You might want to try resistance bands, http://exercise.about.com/cs/exercis...istanceban.htm

They are easy workouts you can do at home, I use them on my light days outside of my circuit training, Its a great way to tone a little muscle without going through all the traveling to the gym, 20 to thirty minutes 3 days a week is all you have to do!
