So if you cant aim.... is it worth it?

The customizable kill streaks sound sweet

I don't think throwing knives ruin hardcore because of the range. If anything they'd be more likely to ruin non-hardcore because they are a 1 shot kill weapon, in hardcore everything is 1 shot kill so it doesn't make a difference. It's only got a 30ish foot range? Plus you give up primary grenades to get it. Definitely some negatives to make up for it's pluses (instant and quiet). I almost think they are overpowered in places like rundown and favela in non hardcore where you do so much fighting inside a few buildings.

After watching that video, I realize I've been limiting myself. I need to start chucking the knife over buildings now. I've never had any luck from farther away than across a street.

On the Borderlands control thing- for the xbox at least the controller is set up identically to MW2, was the PS3 different or are you on the PC?

lol I haven't even been able to kill anyone via knife on hardcore.... with no sights its damn near impossible.

Over a building would just take extreme luck. I wanna see a knife throw sniper kill lol.

lol its fun. Problem is if you get a guy who is a good shot, or good with Grenades and your toast.

That said.... If your in REAL close quarters, its awesome lol. Most guy's don't even know how to react. Generally they go through this progression.........

1. They see you walking towards them and they Shoot at you like they would anyone else.

2. They realize that your still coming and they begin to backup.

3. They start shooting again, and try to run in for a knife kill/Grenade.

4. You Riot Shield Smash them and they die.

Its. Awesome.

As soon as I'm done getting thermal vision on my ass rifle, I'll build up a machine pistol/riot shield guy. You can tell there's potential if you practice enough-but it's a pretty different mindset.

It's just fun. It's not practical, and its not smart. But its fun.

Like doing a whole level with a silenced pistol and 007 music in the background.....

Ummm, uh oh- was I not supposed to be doing that?

I've been singing "The Man with the Golden Gun" into the mic. Oh this is embarrassing.
