Same. I put in a reservation anyways but plan to not go through with it unless there's a surprise MT option that everyone says won't happen.. and it likely won't so likely no C8 for me. Looks great but I don't care about the absolute fastest times, I'd rather enjoy driving.

Honestly I'm totally okay with it not having a manual. I will continue to get my M6 joy out of my 1LE and wouldn't be upset at all with this DCT if it's as good as a PDK. If I do end up getting a C8 it will probably be more of a daily than a track car for me though.

As I said in the other thread, home freaking run. They hit this one out of the park. I can't believe the starting price. My dream of owning brand new Corvette can live!

Even with P-cars I prefer the MT. I'm just old but I'm good with that ha

I'm excited about the C8, it looks great! I do wonder how/if it will affect the Camaro.

I had a C6 briefly for almost 2 years. It had a chevy Cobalt steering wheel... and i loved it! I don't understand the C8 buttons compaints.... bizarre

Me either. They look fine and are in a great position for the driver.

I think it's just because it's confusing to look at and probably annoying to use while driving until you get used to it.

See any Porsche forum complaints about their buttons, they aren't laid out as ugly but just as bad for finding buttons by feel. (at least by pics, have to actually sit in one and use it to see..)

With the C8, it probably is one of those things that when you are actually sitting in the seat it's alot cleaner looking

Looks awesome. Under 60K starting is amazing. sub 3 second 0-60 in the base model (with Z51) is crazy.

They really hit a home run. This thing is awesome. Can't wait to see what the future holds.

On another note, I still would love to see the LT5 in the Camaro, but putting a 500 hp LT2 in a ZL1-1LE type body would make a pretty cool Z28. Basically same power as the previous Z/28, but lower weight and better grip could make it pretty cool. Probably no point, but a limited run of 602 would keep the nameplate alive and wouldn't infringe on the Corvette.

I'm guessing that the non Z51 will still hit 60 in around 3 seconds. Either way, a REAL performance bargain.

My girl likes the C7 more but I love the C8 more! It’s beautiful for a Corvette.
