Car Movies

Sierra and boxmonkeyracing mentioned on another thread that the movie "Better Off Dead" sparked an interest in Camaro's for them. I haven't seen that movie, but plan to get it and watch it.

But, I do love car movies and have a bunch of car movie DVD's. One of my favorite car movies is "Dirty Mary Crazy Larry" featuring a '69 Charger. After might be "Two Lane Blacktop" featuring a '55 Chevy and a GTO.

What are your favorite car movies?

One my all time favorites is "American Grafitti", a duece coupe is my second favorite car.

"Eat My Dust" is another favorite featuring a '68 Camaro race car.

Even though the movie was cheesy, I have always liked "The Wraith".

I'm just going to list all the movies I've liked that had either a car theme or just a cool car.

Gone in 60 Seconds (the original)
The wraith
Transformers
Smokey and the Bandit Series
Driven
Days of Thunder
Cars
The transporter series
F&F series (It's not realistic, but entertaining as hell)
Fled (Motorcycles)

Haven't seen but want to.
Deathrace 3000
Bullit

Risky Business. Most people get distracted by the prostitutes, but there is a good (and funny) chase scene with the Porsche and a Caddy.

Canon Ball Run is a great funny car movie. Bullit, Fast and Furious. Its know as a car movie but How about the chase scene in Ronan? Awesome scene.

Oh and for the old school Caddy fans. How about Licence to Drive? Sweet Cadilac in that movie, if you get past Corey Haim, you will enjoy looking at Heather Graham.

I also found this link.
