So don't buy it. That's why they're optional. For those who do see the value in navigation screens, they have the option available to them.

There's a limit to brand loyalty dude. Those Caddy's and the Buick interiors are pretty damn sick but comparing Chevy(not GM) interiors to that Accord isn't even fair. Almost all of them look the same. That Malibu looks like what it's priced at.

I love the interior in mine not to busy just perfect old school wich is why I chose the Mustang over the Camaro I guess not so many people are into that any more. And I love the way the heater vent's are multi directional it must be a Ford thing because I noticed it's that way on there other vehicle's.

Seeing all of those GM Interiors from other vehicles, the Camaro definately needs a DVD/NAV screen option, like now. Lol

They sure do. Really feel enveloped in almost every new GM car you get into these days. A change for the better, really glad to see some quality domestic stuff, especially from GM

GM is churning out some very nice interiors of late, although Corvette is decidedly not on that list.....in all seriousness Cobalt SS has a better interior and the Cobalt could use some work even considering the class. Camaro would be significantly better if it lost the jukebox center console/HVAC setup, it looks like something torn out of a Buck Rogers comic.
Lambdas look great, as do Malibu, Escalade, CTS, and the new LaCrosse. However, to be blunt most of these interiors are simply class competitive, I think the perception that GM is somehow killing the competition here is based largely on how much better these interiors are than the old, outdated interiors GM has been heaping on us prior to the current crop of cars. Outside of a GM enthusiast almost nobody is going to get into an Accord and think 'wow, the Malibu interior just kills this', because it doesn't. The victory here is that open minded folks, including those who own Accord, will no longer think that they have been slumming when they get out of your Malibu. |

But the fact that it's a matter of opinion shows GREAT progress. It means someone can sit in a Honda, and then a Chevy and legitimately compare them. Which is Fantastic!!! |

Interiors are one of the reasons I could never own a car from the 80s/90s, be it Camaro, Vette, Mustang, whatever. I just dont see the thrill of driving something if you cant stand what you see on the inside, and up until recently, interiors always seemed like an afterthought. Most of the GM lineup looks great (and Im not a brand loyalist, to any one brand), and its about time. The Corvette interior is still pathetic though. The Malibu is not bad, but Id much rather have an Altima.
