So, over $50k but with a ZL1, you get forged internals, a warranty, and etc. Sometimes, its not always about being faster, its about being fast the smart way.

There are so many aftermarket strap on superchargers out there, but people rarely care about the internals these days. I personally wouldn't just strap a supercharger on and call it good without ensuring the compression was correct for forced induction, using forged pistons at least, AFR correct at all RPM (no lean conditions), etc. Call me old school I guess.

When you say "faster than ZL1": at what track and what lap times?
As far as the mods: yawn. Shoulda got a real thing with proper internals, better cooling, bigger brakes and full on track warranty. IMO.

I too, just read the sig. I enjoy R&D myself and am building a track car for my own enjoyment here on the coastal bend hwy's and hill country back roads near Gonzales/Hallettsville. Hope to run with many SS Camaro's in the near future.

It *should* only disable the passenger airbags, which is actually beneficial as there is no use in them going off if nobody is sat there anyway. But, if you have any kind of inspections, you'll fail from the light being on.

I guess something like this *might* kill the light, but I don't have experience in this area to be sure:
