Just like my business. We process over 10,000 clients a year through our software. We have a .01% unreliability rate. Guess what? that's a few hundred clients a year that say my company sux. I'll take that all day and run with it and be proud that only a few hundred clients are unhappy every year.

But anyway, believe what you want and twist the facts in whatever way you wish if it makes you feel better. GM screwed up with some major issues on an otherwise amazing car. Denying it won't fix it. |

For the most part I love my car. 15,000 miles and no major issues. Though I have the rear end groan and the hard shift from 1-2 randomly that I wish will officially be addressed by GM. I've been told my rear end groan is normal and nothing has been done. It's just annoying more than anything.

Put some better gear oil in there - it will help the groan. Amsoil severe gear is an example.

Literally just took my 17 2ss fifty in for “the groan” it’s got 4,000 miles on it and is babied!. Service tech called said there going to flush it and re-program it! Said this was there 3rd Camaro in over the last couple months with the same problem😩. Hopefully this remedies it. Until another 1000 miles and it needs a new torque converter lol

Everything is crap now a days. It now comes down to whose crap sucks less and how much BS one is willing to deal with until they admit that what they love is in fact crap. Iv'e been off this site for months because I switched to a hellcat (which is crap too). What brought me back was looking for fixes to problems that my father-in-law's 2017 SS is having even before the first service. Im sorry to all the fanboys out there ,but this crap just should not happen. How long has it been since the rear differential has been invented? I would think they should have that part pretty damn reliable by now, but nope, crap.

Its been back for minor things, but things just the same. When you start with a $25,000 hunk of crap as a base, you end up with a $60,000 hunk of crap that hauls ass, so you overlook some of the BS. Thus my statement above.

Two of the three 5th gen Camaros I bought broken down. 2010 SS was so bad I traded for a Miata. It literally was spitting water on me through the a/c lol. You know it's bad when your wife (ex wife now) says if something else break we getting rid of it. The 2013 1LE was great. I should have keep it. 2015 Z/28 had he pushing the car down a hill so it can start. Had to give a crash course to my ex on how to start a manual when the starter doesn't work lol. If we didn't have friends in the city it broke, we would have been spending a week in a hotel. As much as I like Camaros, I've been hesitate to buy another one. I miss driving them but I don't miss the problems they had.

I’m curious, with all of the complaints about the A8 and torque converters etc, how are the A8 transmissions holding up for the guys boosting hp via superchargers etc? Given all of the complaints, it seems like bumping hp from the factory rated 455 to 600 - 700+ would quickly destroy a trans that has issues trying to handle the stock output!
