Hello from Indiana

So, I just sold my 1999 Camaro that I bought new in December of '99 that was a 408 nitrous car that made 800 RWHP and ran a best of 10.46 letting off at the 1000 ft mark. I decided it was time to get something newer, more refined, and fun to drive.

I bought a black 2017 1SS M6 with 10k miles on it. My 99 was black as well, I love black cars.

Anyway, I already ordered new rims and tires, tomorrow a Procharger and Stainless Works headers and catted xpipe. I believe I'll be changing the spoiler to the ZL1 version, and maybe the splitter.

I have been looking at suspension parts to help reduce wheel hop, because I don't feel like breaking stuff.

I hope I don't regret getting a M6.

Congrats and welcome! I went from a '00 Z28 M6 (had it for 12 years) to a '17 1SS M6. See you at IRP next season!

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

No, it has the ugly 20" low gloss black 5 star rims on it. It looks just like this one.

Welcome to the SixGen Club! Seems like we're seeing more and more who have the earlier gens coming to the 6 dimension. Buddy of mine in Avon has a 4th gen SS SLP that he's had forever and just picked up 2017 Krypton Green SS 1LE 4wks ago that he revealed at car show in Avon 2wks ago and he's loving it!

He still has the 4th gen but says it may go once his wife complains about now having to park in the driveway with winter fast approaching. I bet she wasn't happy with this mornings first frost.

Sharing a pic of my BVM at that last IMS Cars and Coffee this year.

Thank you everyone.

I noticed that there was not much in the form of support for the LTX powered cars on facebook for the midwest, so I created a LTX group specifically for the midwest. Please feel free to join and tell your friends.
