Blocks Hoonicorn V2 is a meth injected 1400hp awd beast, gotta take balls to drive like that with that much power.

How do you get the image of the video to load instead of just the link? The way I used to do it isn't working.

I drove Pike's Peak a few years ago (the road is open to the public most of the time). I took my '82 Berlinetta, which was blessed with a V6 that generated 106 HP... and that was NOT the smallest/ weakest engine offered for that year's Camaro. In spite of that massive amount of power (!), near the top of the hill, as one approaches 14,000 feet and the air gets really thin, that ol' Camaro was bogging down like a dog. I had the long pedal mashed to floor, and the low hum the car made at its top speed of 25MPH was very, very, not cool. The engine was totally being strangled as I shoved gas into it at a ratio far exceeding the appropriate amount of air.
Not only do I respect Ken Block's driving skills, but I also respect any team that can build a car that can run at multiple elevation levels. Pike's Peak is one of those courses that adds a LOT of Mother Nature obstacles, not just cliffs and rocks and deer and gravel, but air that's so thin that it takes your breath away. |

There's a way to directly do it but it doesn't work for me on my work PC. Don't remember the method.

I did it back in 2007 on my 06 Goldwing... still packed dirt back then part of the way up. Great ride! The funny part was coming down passing two dualsport riders going up.
