Yep - I got started painting on DnD miniatures (the old lead ones, then switched to pewter and now plastic a lot because I can customize it more. Although the colors don't come out as well on plastic... I guess there have to be sacrifices somewhere...) [edit: p.s. - that was back in 95 by the way... took me 10 years to produce anything I felt was worthy of actually posting on the interwebs]

Heres a sample, from back when I actually had a decent camera. I think I painted this one almost four years ago. I still have him, but the paint in chipping in places and the only real way to fix it would be to repaint him entirely. I mix my own paints... More customization, but hard to match after the fact...

Also - to expound on my last post...

I've since moved from DnD miniatures to space marines from warhammer 40k. I don't really play, but I'd like to finish a full platoon. I like setting up displays with them and being able to say "yeah... I painted those..."
