Should I trade my truck or just buy?

Hello all! I own a 04 Chevy Silverado with a V6 extended cab. It has been a very reliable truck that gets good gas mileage. My job currently uses a 04 2500 Chevy truck, quad cab with the 6.2 V8.

This truck is only used to run parts, is in good shape but needs some cosmetic work. New paint and the seats need a good shampoo. Does not have any dents but the paint is gone on the roof (small spot)a little rust is setting in.

I hate seeing all this truck going to waste and I'm thinking of asking the big boss to sell it to me. The maintenance department t may cry because they use it for part so ill be willing to offer a trade for my truck.

Think its worth it?

do you need the 4 doors or just bigger truck? those short trips in that V8 over 13 years may be trouble!

Reports I am hearing in the news, because of the hurricane gas is going up in price.

The truck runs great and has a bunch of power left. 4 doors would be nice when I have the family. I'm not to worried about the gas since this is only a weekend vehicle.

It's not a for sure thing that I'm going to do it. I hate sèeing this truck just go to waste. I'll see what they want for it and if its a low price, maybe ill buy it. Here's a pic....

Never sell a truck, there is something it can always be used for. I keep two on hand at all times.
