wow... i never realized what a big deal a military funeral is.
i went to an acquaintance's funeral today & was completely amazed by the respect and admiration shown by the entire community.

SPC Corey Kowall, a paratrooper in the Army's 82nd Airborne, was killed last sunday when responding to an IED explosion in Afghanistan. his funeral was today & during the procession to the cemetary, there were people lined along the street saluting, waving flags, & covering their hearts - not just people getting out of their cars, but people who stopped work & school to come out & pay respect. one guy even pulled his rollback tow truck sideways across the road to stop people who were irreverantly weaving through those who stopped.

this was one of the most touching things i've seen in a long time & i'd like us to pause for a minute to remember & pray for our soldiers fighting & dying to secure our freedoms here in this great country.

Calling Camaro5 Military

As I posted the last thread, I am kind of wishing I would have included military. Feel free to speak up and get the credit you surely deserve! You guys are the true HEROES!!! My only regret is that I did not join the military prior to Law Enforcement. I get the unique opportunity to work with a lot of Special forces guys and have learned a great deal. Please list :

Branch
Position
Location

I probably forgot some stuff as I am not military. Feel free to put down whatever you think is relevant. THANK YOU!!

Mark, Thanks for serving and that is the coolest decal I have ever seen, on a Camaro, or not. Mt Sgt. is retired 101st Airborne. What a small world!
