I dont know for sure when the road test with the company is going to be... he told me to call him friday morn and if he could then he would take me out for a couple hours on friday but if he couldn't friday then he would monday for sure.... Just worried its going to be in a truck thats hard to see out of too... Like in that old pete I drove you couldn't see anything..... I already know its going to probably be a different trans since he asked if i knew how to shift a super 10...

Same topic....

Still reeling...

Man, that course punishes you for even the smallest miss hit...

Even balls in the fairway don't give you a safe approach half the time...

And when you miss the fairway or the green.. There is not a flat lie to be had..... or a "normal" scramble opportunity..... All I can say is that course makes you pay dearly for any mistake... I had a caddie and I played target golf all day.... I would have been so much worse If I tried to be agressive....

And they had the blue tees all the way back to the tips for a tournament that afternoon.....

Brutal.......

But enjoyed the hell out of my ass whoopin....

Just remember what I said about the 10. It's the same thing but after you hit the splitter, instead of moving it left and up, you move it FAR left and down, THEN go to what 5th would have been. Just adds an extra gear in the far lower left. That's it.

I never counted Granny Low as a gear. To me it was allways 1/5, 2/6, 3/7, 4/8

Dude, don't let me confuse you. Keep it the way it is.

Just remember that a 10 just adds a gear to the far left and back on the top side.

Just like you have it there.

Ok so the super ten is

Rh/l - 3/4 - 7/8

1/2 - 5/6 - 9/10

so you are only going through the pattern once but splitting each gear?

Correct. It's really easy. In fact even easier once you do it.

I would forget the range selector button everyonce in a while with the regular 10.... now i have to worry about a button each time ..... I hope he doesn't take me through downtown I hate right turns or left turns in the town that my instructor took me through.

Just use all the space you have. And remember, cars don't want to be anywhere near you. Most of the time they'll make way. I fyou gotta run over a sidewalk, so be it. Here's a tip for when you get on the road. Allways plan on getting into your delivering town at night. Preferably LATE when there is no traffic. It makes it a whole lot easier.

The most common tranny is the regular 9. Then the Regular 10. Most people understand that the Super 10 is something not too many have used so he'll give you time to feel it out. I drove an automatic and just be glad you don't have to deal with that. It sucks. Shifts too slow.
