Ah, right you are.

My tired old brain is going back to the past when they were either coated steel or stainless. The coated ones didn't last long before they started rusting. Had them on my '65 GTO with a Chevy big block in it.

I remember those days couldn't stand the pitting on the headers, coating was just a band aid for the inevitable, stainless ftw

Summit needs to update their site, doesn't list any JBA products for 2017 Camaro. Coated stainless with catted mid pipe comes out to $1126.

I have the JBAheaders. they are 1 7/8. I Iike the coating, fitting wasnt that bad. The install will require you moe things under the car( studs that hold on insulation)

Likes:

Coating, cost, sound

Dislikes:

flange finish(not flat), v band fit, angle requires plug wires that can be angled(or are angled), didnt include o2 extension.

Overall: not bad for the price, I like the v band idea but it makes install harder, metal is not as good as other in the same price range, coating is(was) holding up well, sound good. Customer service sucks, they denied that an extension was required even though all other manufactures include an extension. I now have TSP headers
I def miss the coating as underhood temps seem higher without it. But honestly I would not but from JBA again with other options in the same price range.

Thanks for the input, I referenced your install thread in the original post, it made me not want to get them.

Living by the coast in Florida, 304 is all that will cut it. Everything else rusts.
