You went to Popeye's Chicken and got fish? That was your first mistake. Popeye's chicken has good chicken can't speak for the fish, but why go to a chicken joint and get fish?

Yep. Two people, one opinion. Of course, if you've never had Lee's Famous Recipe chicken, you need to check one out. It's even better than Popeye's.

Red Beans and Rice is a good side at Popeye's too.

I used to eat at Lee's all the time when I was a kid. They closed a ton of stores though.

That was from 2009. I remember that . I live about a mile away from the Penfield Popeyes. Haven't been there in a while but I do love their warm biscuits with honey.

We don't have Popeye here. When I was young, Kentucky Fried Chicken was the best but over the years it has lost it taste and appeal. My wife's fried chicken is the best I have ever tasted.

You went to Popeyes CHICKEN & got fish? Well, there's your problem right there. I've been eating Popeyes chicken most of my life, grew up in N.O. area. It's the best fast food fried chicken around. I've never had the fish there. I don't like fast food fish anywhere. Next time try the chicken.

First and last for me, last year. You had it better than me. Even the soft drink tasted like, water. Chicken was so hard, I only got one bite out of each strip. Potatoes and gravy was like creek water and mud. Biscuit was harder and drier than a hockey puck. Coleslaw tasted like ,,,,,,,,,ummmmm,,,,,,well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,there are really no words for it. Not clean words anyhow

There are two locally. And have heard people talk about both. Many people. And no offense intended. but if you guys call this food good, I hate to see what you call bad. I wouldn't even call it food. But I did in this case, so we would all be on the same page

Here in Columbus Popeyes is the best. Churches and Famous Recipe are also good. Yes, the Chicken strips are not good. too much breading. The sides and biscuits are usually great. I guess you had a bad experience.
