Last question. Stock front SS tire size is 245/40/20 which is 27.72".
Stock 1le 285/30/20 is 26.73".

Run that or go with 245/35/20 is 26.75" ?

Rear SS 275/35/20 is 27.58"
Rear 1le 305/30/20 is 27.2"
Either one would be fine, I'd prolly do the 245/35 for the rake and closer to 1LE OD split.

I corrected the speedo error in tune, and enjoy the ride, ground clearance, and look of nicely filled wheel arches but the effective gearing change is too much. 6th becomes almost useless IMO. Going to 1LE tires if these rock hard tires ever wear out.

Nitto Motivo ($225) is an all season, high performance yet hard compound and even suitable for light snow (according to manufacturer description). Seems this tire would last a long while and provide good security in terms of cold/wet weather. Fits stock wheels in 295/30/20 size square if buying a second set of rims is not desirable. That's proly what I'd do for least PITA while retaining stock handling characteristics of the car. Unless I could get SS take offs real cheap.

I chose 285/35/20 and 305/35/20 Continental tires on 1LE replica wheels for a little fatter tire look. The speedo reads about 3 mph slower than GPS at 70 - 80 mph.

Any rubbing issues? Do you have MRC?

Exactly, they're not only cheaper with a wider selection but since they're narrower they should be better fit for wet/snow conditions

I think most people who want to get 35 profile tires are worried about the wheel gap/look (same can be said for those who want to get lowering springs). Getting a 1le and then messing with its suspension geometry, MRC calibration and taller gearing sounds very counterproductive to me, each his own of course
