Well... never been on that 2 lane, but had my first experience. 13.45 was my best. Should be doing high 12's imo. My reaction time need some work and still tring to figure that tune.

If you're stock that's about right depending on the DA. I ran 12.2s with my ZL1 stock.

You're lightly modded so your time is OK...As you learn drag racing don't even think about reaction time, you can sit at the light as long as you need to...60' is where you make your time...You didn't tell us very much...How did you prep the car let any air out of read tires, do a burnout, little bits of info go a long way???Was the track hooking???Manual or auto???The more you go, mod and practice the lower your times will be and ask the other racers there more than happy to help you out, unless there is money at stake... Most important is having fun...

So many factors to consider.......... Track prep, tire prep, launch technique, d/a etc etc. As stated above...... Practice and more practice. I ran a miserable 13.4 @ 111 stock and improved to my time in my sig within 4 trips there.

Get some Nt555r's on the rear, I run similar mods and did 12.8 at CamaroFest with an extremely high density altitude.

Skip 555s and get a DR that'll hook. I'd look into MT or m&h.

NT555R's and NT05R's are the best DR's you can run, just look over the threads. Don't talk trash when you haven't even used them....

Well not really....the nitto 555r is a good drag radial. But for higher hp cars people do consider the Mickey Thompsons seem to be the tire of choice. They dont have the same durability on the street as the Nittos but do hook better at the track. I have the Nitto 555r tire on the back 305/35/20 and love them. The NT05R is a step up from the 555rs at the track.
