Congrats on the Malibu Turbo. I love mine, as it is quiet, solid, reliable and quick.
In general I'd have to say that GM has improved the reliability of their cars across the board substantially within the last decade. Most people are unaware, that GM has put in a campaign for improving the reliability of their cars for quite awhile. We are seeing the fruits of their labor with very solid efforts in all of their cars. I really cannot think of a weak link in the Chevrolet line. Even my Malibu was a significant improvement in quality from my previous '09 Malibu. I feel that a current GM choice is a safe one.
