FYI most AK guy like them to be as authentic as possible. A simple funiture change can make the difference in selling or sitting for weeks
Yeah got $850 for the black with 3 mags. I do not think the simmons scope on it was worth much. The .223 saiga may take some time to find the right person. haha I have looked into possible getting the stock furniture for the gun now.

Bought this a few weeks back. I shoot some Steel Challenge and my platform of choice is a 1911. I can more easily feed a gun 9mm than forty five, so a 9mm makes sense for me. I've been impressed with this Colt.
Had to adjust the rear sight and even using my MGW sight pusher it was almost impossible to move the rear sight. Fitted very tightly.

Had a few failures to feed during the initial break in. Once I had 60 or 80 rds through it, gave it a good detail clean and lube...it's been reliable.

What a change from Colt in the old days. This gun has about everything a shooter could want; long trigger, great sights, Commander style hammer, extended safety, beavertail safety, good stocks, etc. Way back ,one bought a new Colt, threw half the parts away, replaced them with various aftermarket pieces and turned it into THIS gun. How times have changed.

The Colt has a thin, matte finish. I don't think it will be very durable. We shall see I guess. It may fool me.

Oh of course.... especially for an out of town purchase.... trying to privately mail a firearm wouldn't go well I'm sure.

I've got a DPMS LR 308 (AR10)
With Armalite scope mount and Millett 4-16x56 scope

And also a Nikon prostaff 3-9x50 scope that i don't need.

My Patriot Ordnance Firearm came in Friday. Really like the features this has. The nitride barrel with piston operation will be great for running 7.62x39 cheap ammo. Although I think I am going to reload ammo shortly. POF is running a special if you buy before a certain date they also give you 6 mags. because this is 7.62x39 I get 6 new generation 28 round C product mags. So just need 3 more but the 7 mags the gun came with saved a good $150.00
