its crazy to see how high those old camaros mustangs gtos and others get in price. i hope that the new camaros become classics so in 40 years or so they will be puling in the big bucks in auctions like barrett jackson. maybe when i get mine ill take good care of it and sell it at an auction for like 300K.......nah it be too hard to part with after that long LoL

Not really, I want a first gen Camaro, a big block not a Z28. Also would like to get into a Ferrari at some point but I am not in a big hurry for anything.

My problem is I like to drive em. I could never own an "all original" garage queen. It would never work for me. I haven't recieved my catalog yet but checking online they have some nice cars.

Worst part about the whole thing is that Mecum is having an auction next weekend right here in my backyard but I'm busy gettin married!

In my opinion the market is still down and one can find decent prices right now.

Here is a link to the St. Charles Mecum auction next weekend if anyone is interested. These are also typically televised on Discovery HD. http://mecum.com/auctions/auction_de...TION_ID=CH1009

I watch. I went twice, but they kept jacking up the price so much that it got to be rediculous. As if they're not making enough on commission. Plus if you're there in person you can't see the bidding going on really, unless you sit in the audience. Better to watch at home.
I do miss the older antique cars they use to have. I'm sorry, muscle cars were cool because they were not too expensive. If you spend over 50k on one you're a nut.
