I watched this one the news and no one mentioned a CCW. I saw it on one news station.....Telemundo!! American news stationed didn't.

Unfortunately the big news stations here in America will only cover defensive shootings if 1) the attacker was shot and killed by an officer AND 2) the attacker was black. Just so they can spin the story into "Police shot another innocent black person". I hate our news stations so much

Not to change the subject but this had me laughing. I was on Amazon looking for surveillance cameras dvr packages. I found some I liked and looked up the star ratings. There is a section where you can ask a recent buyer a question about the product they already purchased. Here is the question...

Q: what would stop a robber from taking your hard drive out of your home or business with all of the recording data with it?

A: A shotgun.

Best answer ever.

Maybe they do not read their own press online. Did they think they have not been exposed that they are the IFMA? They are back pedaling. I think if they came out and said you know we thought we were eliminating our competition not the American public they may do better. Best to come clean and regroup especially with gun owners. Most never forgive. Alkot of companies went of business for shady practices that went viral and no one does business with them any more.

Hennessy is not a gun company but known for deceptive practices that will never die with in the community.

In other news, RRA also released a statement that they too are leaving the IFMA over this. This is hysterical considering that there is only 4 members of IFMA and 3 of them are executives of SA and RRA.

SB 1657 would create onerous mandatory regulations, fees potentially in the thousands of dollars and excessive amounts of red tape that would almost assuredly force the closure of many firearm dealers, and prevent prospective owners from opening new ones. The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) already licenses and closely monitors all federally licensed firearm dealers (FFLs) and strictly enforces any violation of federal law.
SB 1657 goes far beyond federal law and is designed to shut down as many FFLs as possible.

FYI. If you're travelling to Canada with firearms, then you must declare it and have proper documents ready at the border.

While you're in Canada, the laws is tighter. The rights to bare arms doesn't exist.
You cannot carry a weapon with you in public, whether it's concealed or not (unless you're on official law enforcement duties).
