Good evening from Coastal NC
New member, joined this Forum just today. I did join a different one last week but have seen just about NO traffic there. Thank God I stumbled on to this site.
Couple of "firsts" for me during the last week, "first ever Camaro and first ever Convertible". I have been wanting a Camaro since they debuted in 2010. The wife was getting a tad tired of me and my many vehicles over the years. I have had so many I would have to sit back and think about all of them. Probably the best I have ever had was 1961 Impala SS 348/six pack with a four speed, 1954 Chevrolet truck that was tricked out with Corvette suspension and drivetrain, 62,63,64 Impala SSs, 1968 Dodge Charger RT, and currently in the garage another highly modified 1996 Impala SS that has 373 gears, six speed and an engine that is moderately built supplying just over 400 HP to the wheels. Super fun to drive. I like modifications if they are only done professionally and look like they rolled off the assembly line that way. Ok enough about cars, for now. Retired first from the U.S. Marine Corps and secondly retired LEO from the state of Maine. Enjoying life next to Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC. Back to cars: Regarding my first ever Camaro, don't have it in hand yet.... I fly out this coming Thursday morning from New Bern, NC to Dayton, Ohio to pick her up, the deal is sealed. A 2014 Camaro 2LT/RS that was part of a 15 car stable, never got driven other then occasionally on weekends, there is 4,454 miles on the clock. Color is Sapphire Gray Metallic. CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
