Beast of a car but sales will be harder as a two seater ONLY car. At least with the ZL1, Z/28 or Hellcat you have a four seater...

They will only be 1 year 3000 cars built i can just imagine the 50-75k adm so they will sit on dealer lots for a bit but will still sell out.

Of course you can use it on dragstrips, just not at NHRA events.

Lucky for you the ZL1 is slow enough to be legal.

Not events. Any NHRA track, any weekend, will boot your ass. They screwed up bigtime by not putting a 6 point cage in it from the factory.

If your stupid enough to run a car this fast without a proper cage....your Darwin award awaits you. My guess is we will see more than a few Darwin's handed out.

Although the numbers are impressive a ZL1 or ZL1-1LE can be modded/built for roughly $15,000.00 (and my number maybe high) to out perform the Demon straight line and I want even go into tracking it...This car is being produced as a one time statement collector...So if the numbers come out correctly a lot of people that buy into Dodge's concept will find that they got "reamed, dry" at the end of the day...I'm less than $12,000.00 away from my Demon killer, and there are already many members that the Demon does not want to see...To hell with it being a production unit...

I think this car does more for sports car lovers than any other sports car up to now.

This is still a daily driver ford/gm response will only fuel horsepower wars even more even if they don't touch 800 but come close. To be honest if you purchase the passenger and back seat for $1each and add 3 people into the car may still be faster than a 2 seat Z06 for 110k+.

The interiors of the hellcats with sepia leather and the awesome performance pages is pretty nice for a car under 10sec. and under presumably 90k! Just imagine a ZL1 with 760horsepower ouch...
