HP wars are going too far, how is this considered stock with drag radials, tune, seat deletes, etc....? Don't get me wrong, the car is cool, but what's the point in a car that is not usable? If you can afford a couple or multiple cars to yourself, it makes sense. For someone looking to get a muscle/sport car, and has to narrow it down to one choice, it wouldn't. Unless you're very passionate about drag racing.
I would just settle for the 392 charger. I don't see why GM needs to respond to this, it doesn't. |

+1 it's the ability to call yourself king of the street. Of course horsepower is a tough mountain to tackle because someone always has more. It is however what everyone will be compared to. The GT 500 will be nonexistent and the hype around the ZL1 has already been overshadowed for those that think big HP is the only thing most folks understand. The ZL1 will be a great car I am sure. The Demon will be a memorable car bar none!

Why does the COPO keep coming up?
If we are going to do that, why not bring up John Force's Camaro? It's faster than the COPO and just as street legal. |

Umm I think the fact that it is released directly from the manufacturer, very well qualifies it for being stock. 🤔 lol

The reason is that whenever i have brought up the fact that I love the idea of a purpose built drag car, someone brings up the COPO which is just not a valid excuse anymore for GM. Sorry, Dodge just rewrote the book on production performance vehicles. Even took the mantel from TESLA for the quick production 0-60 and by over half a second. Drop the 🎤
