9.65 sec factory street car... unf'nbelieveable.

Dodge backed up their hype and hit it out of the park.

No, the Demon is a street legal drag car. I guess you missed that part.

If this thing had a Chevy badge, you would think it's the greatest thing ever. I don't get the blind fanboyism.

Dodge makes no apologizes. They said it is meant to be a singular purpose performance car. The fact that they are not trying to be all things to all people is actually refreshing. They just proved the COPO program at GM silly. The demon is faster than the 6.2L COPO and only .95 secs slower than the fastest published stock COPO time by Chevy......oh and Dodge is make 3000 of them and it is street legal.

This is a win for the whole muscle car field

New benchmark and GM and Ford sure to respond (Ford first)

Great achievement for American factory muscle car... Period

The Demon uses the factory IRS instead of having a live axle swapped for drag racing.

My ZL1 is the first chevy I have ever owned. It has nothing to do with its capabilities. I would never buy a dodge product based on their reliability. I think it is funny getting berated on a Camaro site for making fun of dodge.

I am certain I couldn't afford the price of the car, much less the cost of insurance. Imagine telling your insurance agent that the car's one trick is running the drag strip. Gees, the insurance may be more than the car payment.

But, maybe the Publishers Clearing House will come through and then, and then.....

Here's Hot Rod's article...

http://www.hotrod.com/articles/2018-...-makes-840-hp/

It's too fast for NHRA rules Section 4....Banned from competition....COPOs don't have that "problem"....

It was a joke, they were saying how technologically advanced it was and made me think of the fat kitties solid axle and skinny tires.
