Dodge / SRT Viper Hate?
Why so much hate against one of America's greatest Sports Cars? I can't understand it. Like the Corvette is so much better? Guys I know are happy the Viper is no longer made anymore. Weird.

This is nothing new. No two people are the same. Everyone has the right to their own opinion. IMHO, the Viper is one of the most amazing sports cars ever made.

I never fed into the brand loyalty bs (they don't pay me) so if it's fast and badass I like it regardless of name tag. I personally love the viper, and the 5.0 mustangs. Both are absolutely amazing cars. I drive my 17 ss and a new 4x4 platinum tundra and from time to time I actually catch a tiny bit of flack as to why didn't I buy a silverado instead? I don't like to get into those debates so I just tell them I got exactly what I wanted and am not brand loyal to any specific brand.
Hate to see the Viper go bye bye but I think it outpriced itself out the market. |

I don't hate the car. But as a general rule, Viper drivers are a-holes. There are exceptions.. but they are the exceptions.

I would show some 'hating' if they threw a N/A V6 under that long ass nose... lol!

no hate on the viper! Its raw and a naturally aspirated 8.4l v10!!! whats not to love!?! Yeah the build quality is pretty poor. I don't know too much about the newest one with the restyling. Maybe the build quality is a little bit better. But in general, dodge's have pretty poor build quality..and quality in general.
But the viper is a legend and i think mostly everyone can agree. There will always be exceptions. The person who doesn't like the viper is the same guy who thinks his audi with a 6 cylinder turbo and paddle shifters is a better car...because of that new technology and crap All i can say is i'm sad that it has to go. But it was way better to discontinue it, than to go with the new crowd and drop the v10. Look at the ford gt going ecoboost v6. Disgusting.... Now you will see the price on vipers slowly start to go up. I think you can get a decent srt10 like a 2001-2006 for under 40-50k That won't be for too long. When technology moves on and people grow to love the old v10, stick shift with no electronic aids..i will see this pricing easily doubling over the next 10-15 years |

Vipers are small. They sit the driver really snug against the doors and dash.
The corvette will seat someone 6'6 300lb's, more consumer friendly. |

The very first car I ever fell in love with was a 94 Viper RT/10. What a cool car. I had the opportunity to go for a ride in one, it was just raw and aggressive. I'd like to own one some day.

No hate here. Just saw a review of the Voodoo model and it's just an outright track beast. For the money, there really isn't any car capable of outpacing it, not to mention its simply a rollcage short of being a race ready car.
