Toyota pickups USED to be known for reliability. Quality wise, they are not any better when compared to the domestics, especially the Tundra's. |

I am going to disagree with you. Tundra's are pretty much bullet proof for the most part and I've heard virtually zero major complaints. This is my second Tundra and I would not buy any other 1/2 ton truck (full size). Reliability is second to none sir

If I had to pick between those two it would be the srt. If you were interested in a ford/ram/gm pickup I would pick one of those over the srt.

One of my good friends has a 2010 Tundra crewcab 2wd with the small v8 and it has been to the dealership numerous times and he still has electrical issues with it to this day. He was a Toyota person through and through. but his next truck will not be a Toyota after his experiences. People can share the same stories about any of the major brands like I just shared.. and that is why I say, Toyota has no appreciable quality difference over any one else, especially when it comes to fullsize trucks. Google Toyota recalls and see for yourself the amount of recalls Toyota has issued in recent years. You mention reliability. I have owned Chevy trucks for 29 years, and not once have I been stranded on the side of the road. That is reliability. Last edited by Expunge; 03-21-2017 at 01:03 PM. |

Update: I'm leaning towards the Jeep SRT.
