GM opened the system up for orders today...

Here's mine:

V6 Crew Cab Short Box ZR2
Red Hot Exterior
Black Leather Interior
MyLink Radio with Navigation
Bose Sound System
Premium Interior Package (1st and 2nd row floor liners, interior illumination package)
Bed-mounted Spare Tire Carrier
Cargo Area Lamps
Engine Block Heater
Polished Exhaust Tip
Wheel Locks

Now the wait begins...Time to start ordering accessories so they'll be here when the truck hits the ground. The Camaro will have more company soon.

I'm also curious if the bed-mounted tire carrier is factory or dealer installed. Any insight you can give us from your ordering experience is greatly appreciated!

From everything I've read so far, the bed-mounted spare tire carrier is a dealer installed item.

What was the MSRP or the invoice of this? (I'm not asking what you paid)

No one seems to know what they cost. He must've placed the order without knowing the price

@Nicul15, you are right; I ordered the truck not knowing the actual invoice or MSRP. Assuming the 40,995 base price announced by Chevy recently, I more or less estimated that the MSRP will be around 44,500 as ordered. Incentives and discounts that are available at the time the truck hits the ground at the dealership will then be applied. Can't wait to get this truck!

Here is a link to a YouTube video from the Detroit Auto Show as to what I expect the truck to look like exactly.

Will do! I'm hoping I'll have it in my garage by Memorial Day weekend.

Yeah, when GM has run the 20% discounts, absent from the list was the Colorado. Truck sells extremely well.

You wont be disappointing! I loved the ZR2, rides better than I expected it would with the tires. I enjoyed every mile in that truck for sure! I too would order one just like the auto show truck. I had an ext cab, but would prefer the full quad cab.
