Hello from the California Central Valley

Been trolling around without an account for awhile and finally got one. So much info on here and can't wait to make improvements with good advice. Though limited with California smog laws was thinking these mods to still keep it moderately legal though CAI will have to be changed. Any opinions?

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

I don't have one yet, But I like to set out a game plan for when I do get one (I actually have parts sitting in my mail box for a car I don't even have yet). But I'm finding a lot of places won't even sell you anything that can compromise the smog of the car if you have it shipped to a California address. It makes searching a bit harder to find something without the "Not for sale or use in California" warning. Even though new cars don't need to be smogged for at least 6 years and an Intake is something that is super easy to revert back to stock.

Welcome! I'm in the SD County area myself, and am pretty familiar with all emissions related laws in this state, and I have my fair share of work under the hoods of my Camaros. Any questions feel free to ask!

If you dont already have a CAI, Volant offers a CARB compliant sticker so youll pass emissions... Have them on all my vehicles no problems..
