I also can't comprehend Welburn giving away, way ahead of time, something like the split window returning. Wouldn't they want to suprise everyone? What if they can't pull off that design? Then they've thrown expectations out there.
I dont think the c6 looks like a 68. Lol it looks a lot like a c5 I love the 60's corvettes.

unless people are putting words into eds' mouth, such as the z28 and the c7 (not saying there false but rather see it on the gm blogs)

If you look at the front fenders of the C6, they're real close to the C3. It's just a modern evolution of that style.

I think the C6 looks like a hybrid between a C5 and a Ferrari.

I have heard that GM was considering going with a mid-engine drivetrain in the next Corvette, we will see...

They have said that they are definitely not going that route

Found a bunch of different looks there. Like the black.

This is probably some guys render. Its actually my favorite. I'd hit this in a heartbeat!
I still do like the concept from the movie too though.

i remember seeing Ed Welburn say in a video that the stingray concept wasn't intended for production & it was more of a brainstorming exercise for the engineers

the split back glass idea will never work now. they canceled it after the 63 models for safety reasons (blocking rear view)... and because Mr Duntov (the designer) didn't like it

They need to go back to the 63-67 model retro IMHO

Those were the hottest looking ones.

Well, seems I found my evil twin. Can you hand over all the missing socks so I can pair them back up?
