Do people seem to forget all the hype and hooplah that surrounded Pittsburgh when the New York Giants reported their footballs were also underinflated during the freezing temps? No? Sure ya didn't, because the Giant's already knew that while they did not file a formal complaint, they did indeed report some underinflated footballs. However since it's not New England, no one bats an eye... http://sports.yahoo.com/news/roger-g...183157757.html In that video above where the MIT Professor completely debunks the entire bs conspiracy Roger Goodell laid before all you New England Patriot haters, he mentions specifically. "The Colts' balls were as much out of range as the Patriots' balls," Leonard told a class on the deflate-gate at UNH, according to the Boston Globe. "It's pretty much an open-and-shut case, but somehow Roger Goodell never understood it, and still doesn't to this day." Please don't sit here and armchair QB your own analytics about what pressure ratings should've read at (Y) given moment with a room temperature of (X). It's been done by professionals before, and they all come to the same conclusion. It's been laid before you with plenty of evidence that deflategate was still a joke, this is almost as sad as the other guy in the other NFL thread that said Tom Brady and the Patriot's didn't win the Superbowl, Atlanta lost it instead. Jeeeeeez people give it a rest already!! |

Good thing they didn't cheat? well the nfl and federal appeals court says otherwise, and they got punished for it. So it's not just jealous, crazy, delusional fans. They actually did cheat. On multiple occasions.

....and won multiple SuperBowls. Were they ever found to be cheating during the seven superbowls they were in over the last 15 years? |

That made absolutely no sense. Wow.
Ok, so they weren't actually caught cheating in the SB. Let's just forget that you have to get there by winning during the regular season and playoffs. Which they did, by cheating on multiple occasions. Hence the punishments from the NFL, and not by fans. And lets not pretend the NFL is out to "get" the Patriots. It's amazing how delusional pats fans are. They have had so many favorable calls go their way, that no other team would have gotten. Like the infamous Tuck rule that has never been called before Brady fumbles. Lord knows that "tuck rule" has happened on plenty of occasions by other teams, and that got them to the super bowl. And so many other qb's got hit below the knee, but wait, it happened to Tom Brady? Lets make a new rule! lol, freaking sissy. But oh well, lets sweep everything under the rug because they weren't caught cheating in the 7 SB's they were in. Good logic. Honestly, I've been in way too many of these debates, so I'm bowing out. I'll see you guys in the 2017 threads. lol

Like I said, it's like listening to liberals cry about everything that didn't go their way...when hit with facts they call out racisim, only difference here, when hit with facts they cry cheaters.
![]() The courts didn't rule there was cheating, they ruled that Goodell had the power to punish as he see's fit. The Pats weren't caught for spying over "many years " the memo went out one season and that's the season they were in violation, no others!! These guys read the headlines that suit their needs and proclaim it as fact, meanwhile the Pats keep on winning!!!! Can't wait for this years !!!!!! |

Yeah and the NFL also said the Giants reported underinflated balls during frigid temps at the Steelers game, but no one cared... dude, you're wrong, get over it. No, it must be tough being a Dolphins fan during the Pats dynasty era, I get it. It must be tough to have your GM set your team back 5 years by signing Suh to the highest paid contract ever, I get it. Stick to Spygate, at least you have a legitimate gripe over that. But this deflategate nonsense is done with, no one but you thinks it's real. |

The tuck rule existed before Brady even played in the NFL. The rule was even used AGAINST the Patriots, in favor of Vinny Testeverde and the Jets, earlier in the same season as the Raiders game you are whining about. |

[QUOTE=Joe M 2012 2SS;9579975]I'm still trying to make sense of this.
![]() How can you be a head coach in the NFL, when you think a FG is 50 yards from the 23? ![]() And you have the best kicker in the NFL for the year? 9 for 9 from 40-49 yards. IMO, he's just putting the best spin on their collective failure. The run didn't get the results he wanted, advancing the ball. Then questionable play calling and poor execution on the next three plays put them in a bad position for the field goal. Don't expect him to do the mea culpa and fall on the sword. He probibly blames the players as much as you and many others blame him. They collectively failed when they had a high probability success. What else could he say in his position? |

They're the Alabama of the NFL. You beat Alabama, and look what happens to my Rebels. Clemson better look out.
