Between hubby & I we have 5 vehicles total. 2- (his & hers) 5th gen Camaros, his 2002 35th Anniversary Edition Camaro w/T-tops, I bought my Dad's GMC 2002 Sierra that only had 23K mi on it when we bought it a couple years ago then I bought me a new 2015 Nissan 370Z for a steal after the 16's came out. Currently his 2011 SS and my Z are in the garage, The 2002 Camaro & my 2010 are under the car port & the truck is in the driveway. We are all just car crazy huh?

I'm not allowed to park cars on the street. Association sends passive aggressive letters lol

They have it's pluses and minuses. Gated community is always nice. But having the little regulation things are kinda dumb.

Did you get a flu shot? If so I blame that. Last time I got one, I was the sickest I've ever been.

You can't scientifically say that. Because you could of had it twice as bad without the flu shot. And the flu shot is a specific strain of the flu, with thousands of different variations going around, the shot you got would not necessarily been the right one. They are usually one year behind based on how long it takes to make the flu shots available to the public. But it general, it is best to have it.

We are required at work to have a flu shot yearly.

Your right, scientifically I can't say that, but I can say that was the sickest I've ever been and soon after I couldn't keep anything down. I don't think it's a coincidence. They inject a "weakened" virus in your system so your body can produce antibodies and combat that particular virus. No antibodies to that particular virus, you get sick.

Pretty sure you cannot get the flu from flu shots. The vaccine is made from dead cells of the virus. Probably got it from someone else. Most people get their shots when the flu is going around so it's real easy to have gotten it elsewhere.
Next time, ask your doctor or provider if it is possible to get the flu from the shot.
