Is anyone else have a crooked HUD? - Page 5

Is the dealership working on the brake squeal issue as well? I'm thinking of taking my car into the dealer for that issue, but I don't want to waste my time and have them say that it is normal.

Told me that the pads are the only ones available for the 16 as of right now for the best braking. Not a huge issue, quite a bit of dust though.

I was glad to come across this thread.
I have a 2017 2SS vert. It took me about 5 days to start realizing that
the HUD was tilted counter clockwise by a couple of degrees.
I think a lot of car enthusiasts are OCD types, as I am, and this
HUD being off by just a couple degrees Can lend a "cheap" feel to
the car. I haven't brought it to the dealer because I figured I was
the only "uptight & ocd" guy that would notice something like that.
It's funny to me that knowing there are so many others noticing this
makes me feel better about it. I will keep my eye on this thread and hopefully
Chevrolet will come up with a solution, then I'll probably bring it in.
Side note...I just bought my wife a '16 Mazda CX-9, that has a
HUD. There is a feature on her car, where you can not only adjust
the raising/lowering of the display on your windshield, but you can also
rotate the image clockwise/counterclockwise. It's too bad Chevy didn't

The first one I test drove was noticeably crooked. Mine is very very slightly left but it could be an illusion since the hood is not flat.

Thought it was my imagination, but my g/rpm/speed/gear HUD is slightly off level, counter clockwise, just enough to notice. It looks a little higher on the right than on the left. Noticed it before I found this thread. Minor annoyance. I wish GM gave us the ability to adjust the lateral position and angle. But overall, I love the HUD and display options.

I was thinking the same exact thing as i was reading this!

A buddy of mine ruined me with pickles on my hamburger after he said he doesn't eat them on his burger cause it makes everything just taste like pickles! After he said that, I noticed it and can't eat it either. lol

I wish my HUD was a little more to the left. I tend to lean towards the center when cruising and it cuts it off.

Ya been like this from the start of 2016. My 2014 HUD was perfect, but my 2016 HUD shakes when I listen to loud music or when driving on bumpy highway. How did they screw it up on 6th gen?!
