Returning ex-chevy owner
Hello all! I last had a 70 SS396 Camaro back in 1979 (yes, I'm OLD). followed by a 65 396 Vette. Last year had an LS2 swap into a Porsche 944. Now along comes the ZL1 and I want to return to Camaro. Placed an order for an Ice Silver. I can't wait to have all the new technology! I can see this forum is full of great owners and is going to be very valuable! Cheers all

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

I remember putting a dime under the throttle stop so the SOB would idle to warm up on really cold days and sticking a pencil down the carb to hold the choke open a little. Now you jump in and twist the key, it doesn't matter what the weather is the computer and fuel injection trim it all perfectly. Chevy engines have long been nearly bullet-proof. I'm sure you will be happy.
