From an enthusiast standpoint, FCA producing cars like the Hellcats and Demon is awesome.

From a business standpoint, it's about the dumbest decision ever when the rest of the lineup languishes in mediocrity.

That is just asking for trouble...maybe two sets of wheels/tires?
Not any worse than the Trofeo Rs that came with the Z28... this won't be a mass-market model.

Could FF8 have accidentally leaked the Demon? Wide ram air hoods and 5-spoke rims...

So video 3 was released last night. Looks like drag radials to me and the fenders don't look like they are molded to the body... Looking like the F&F video + the leaked photos are more and more credible now.

Road and Track stated the tires are 315/40R18 Nitto NT05Rs

The demon is on the tires as well... pretty cool

This will be a very cool straight-line performance package. Dodge knows there's no reasonable way to make the current platform really competitive on the race track so why even bother with a half-assed attempt. I like it.

There's already a lot of heated discussions going on about their decision to use the same tires all-the-way-around.

I'm not surprised. Having a wide tire like that on the front of a drag specific car makes zero sense (narrower the better up front for drag racing a car like this.). Maybe they thought having just the widebody pieces on the back would look weird? No idea...

Why can GM not learn from Dodges advertising... Everyone who knows nothing about cars wants a hellcat and thinks there are the baddest car ever made. This demon will make is worse. I am so tired of hear why didn't you get a Hellcat. Umm cause I paid for it and don't want one.

You've already answered your own question. They know nothing about cars...who cares what they think. The real world is where it matters...not in an explosion-filled commercial with robotic animals tearing wooden crates to shreds.

I've got a '73 Dart Sport (Demon name was dropped after '72 due to backlash from the name and devil logo) with a hopped up 340 backed by a 4 speed. I reaaaallly love this car. Such a fun ride and a head turner.

Dodge is really doing awesome things nowadays. It's good to see them catering to enthusiasts like this. Some of us just want stupid fast straight line acceleration, enough tire smoke that people call the fire department, and classic weird and crazy Dodge styling.

The Demon isn't going to be the most refined car out there, but it doesn't need to be. With a supercharged HEMI and 315 series drag radials on all corners, it's going to be one badass automobile.
