I booked at Hilton online, need to change the code from mispelled, camero, to camaro and got the correct rate.

Booked at the host hotel this morning - #74 of 150.

In the case of cancellations, they told me that the first night's deposit is refundable up until 7 days before the event (not 14 days).

Missed the window for the host hotel but did book at Hilton has hopefully a back up.
Operator at host hotel said I am number 2(that just sounds wrong:-)) on the call list if a reservation is cancelled. Will see every body there.

Hotels are filling up fast. Can't imagine Hilton will be open for more then 2 days before they have a waiting list aswell.

There are several other hotels in the immediate area. They are "next door" or "across the street". Hope you come, no matter what. You'll still be welcome in the host hotel's parking lot party!

Another hotel that's down the street is the holiday inn express. There rates should be very reasonable if all the other hotels are booked or too expensive.
