Rates are $115 per night so if you don't care about being at the host hotel and find something cheaper, go for it. They were $109 two years ago.

Otherwise the Host Hotel Thread opens up at 9am cst with the information you will need. Right now they are blocked off and will not open before 9 cst.

You will also need to pay one night up front to hold the reservation and cannot cancel once we are inside 14 days of the reservation.

Hope that helps.

Bowling Green in general is high. They know what they can get and they get it too... Something is always going on in Bowling Green -- including the college events...

I go often as I have family in the area, but NCM is a must and I never get tired of the museum...

Roosters and Montana Grill BTW, are great places to eat!

You will all be getting a list of all the important places in town to eat, to drink, to shop, to wash your car , etc. It is an exhaustive list of everything you need in Bowling Green with addresses , distance from host hotel, hours of operation, and phone numbers. It is coming very soon, I made the list up for the fest two years ago and it is being double checked before I post again, and yes Montanna Grill is on it !

I was strictly talking about the prices right now for the same hotels you used last year not what ever you may get with a group rate. But for those that want to book early they are ridiculous compared if you wanted to book the same room in May or June.

We know what you meant (others may not have). This is why it's important we keep the fest location under wraps Hotel negotiations are complete. Once they find out a big weekend is coming or folks book up rooms before we nail down a price it can get real high and we are screwed. The reason they are so high now is we have almost the entire hotel blocked so the last few rooms will definitely be high. That happens at any hotel or airlines for that matter.

This time we were able to hold blocks of rooms early and go ahead and let the location out. But, no matter what you tell everyone the phones will light up and they try to book anyway.

I doubt we will sell out the 1st couple of days so no one should be stressed over it.

I seem to recall the host hotel rooms selling out within a few hours for Fest VI.

Will there be "overflow" hotels like last time?

I brought my son when he was 13 to CF in Baytown and when was 15 for CF at BG. Do it he will love it. See you there.
