And I live right in the 15.0 plus area....im pretty pissed right now..but glad I have insurance..house is fine...cars are not...i dont even want to talk about it

Hope you and your family are all ok also, shame on the golf course, but nothing compared to all of the unlucky folks that got their homes and cars flooded or worse.

I think major floods are only second to fire for the mess and damage they do, I have only been involved in one flood in a house and that was a broken pipe that went for 2 days while we were gone, a mess but nothing like a real flood.

The other flood was when I was in the Navy, they one was a little hairy as we started listing over 30 degree's before we could get some more pumps on-line and level it out, another 30 minutes and we would have go over.
