the list in short:
7. Manual transmissions prove you can do more than one thing at a time
1. Women like a guy who is good with his hands.
Who says you can't do more than one thing at a time while driving an auto? Just means you have your hands free to grab onto other things, if your significant other is in the car

some people have physical limitations that prevent operating a clutch. does that automatically make them lazy? there are a myriad of other significant reasons to need an automatic that don't fall under the 'laziness' category.

I have a health issue (lifelong) that now (in my latter 40's) makes my foot/leg hurt from depressing the clutch. I had to switch to automatics some years back. I still enjoy driving.

I drive an A4, and I'm not offended. I can drive stick- since I was 12, but got the A4 so milady could drive it too. All comes down to what suits you/your situation best. I will say this though: my 5th gen will undoubtedly be (thunderclap) the mighty 6 speed! MUhahahahahaaaaaa

Someone saying they wouldn't disgrace their camaro with an automatic... how stupid a comment is that?

Lookie here, I have a car with a manual transmission
Do I get to join your "manly" club? Hey it also doesn't have power steering. Does that make me extra manly?
Really the whole "I'm superior if I drive a manual" thing has really gotten old and could use a rest. I have a sense of humor but don't think it's too funny to single out about half of the members of this board because THEY didn't buy what you like.
You sure have strong opinions, don't you?

You mean clutchless. Almost an automatic but still under the drivers control!

Maybe, but really it's my hatred for stupidity that has made me post my opinions on the subject.
