I saw this on Performance TV yesterday They put it on the dyno but had to get their numbers in fourth gear. The guy said that 5th gear was 1 to1 and would hit the speed limiter on the dyno. They "expect" 630 hp at the rear wheels Still awesome from a dealer with a warranty. I would love to have a camaro with 630 hp period lol

Slap a blower on it and boost it to the moon....LOL Yup price is nice, minus about a butt billion in other supporting upgrades you can shred the tires and wait for stuff to break...LOL Kind of a poor mans stock install of a blower with a parts only warranty for 3 years...what could go wrong? Well that's where all the other money comes in, and yup its bare bones Gt so.......nice-ities not included but really a package installed that should be popular with a great big caveat emptor. And it is what it is so axle shafts, forged, trans worked....NOT, Rear, suspension, etc NOT.... Because making money off of last years models would be cool if a Chevy dealer did this! ( other than say places that think a Calloway name or other names like Nicky etc are worth so much more and its just throwing blowers and stickers and embroidered head rests on and not actually doing something to the everything else as a car is a whole package) ; as the disparity in pricing is Asstronomical.

Its a base GT with a supercharger.. the warranty only covers PARTS not Labor. And you will be breaking a lot of parts if left unchanged.

I would rather have a vehicle DESIGNED to handle that amount of power, rather than that death trap.

And when was the last time you saw Chevy or a Chevy dealer advertise HP at the rea wheels?

For the same reason Ford isn't doing anything like this. Or Dodge, or any other manufacturer: they don't like to sell things that they expect will break while covered by their warranty.

I've never seen it from an OEM (for good reason, too many variables at play) but every now and then you see dealer/shop collaborations that upgrade cars advertise wheel horsepower. Its rare, and I can't remember who I've seen do it but I remember it happening -because it stood out in my mind as being the exception rather than the rule.

I imagine this comes with pages of things that will void the warranty that you have to sign. The last item I would guess is something to the effect of "inserting the key into the ignition will void all warranties"
