Yes, it would be. Probably can't be put into a front engined Corvette while still meeting European pedestrian impact standards.

Which means that it might not get sold in Europe (or anywhere else with that type of crash standard) or the engine might not be going up front.

Wouldn't also weigh a hell of a lot too?

I have been trying to find dimensions/weights on the Ford 6.2L SOHC engine but can't find anything concrete.

Looks like it may be the C8 motor that's been rumored for years.


My question......would a 6.2 L DOHC fit for the Z/28??

If it's anything like the Coyote..which is the size of an old big block, probably not.

Hell the LT1 is a tight fit inside the Gen 6.

Isn't this the same way the Camaro community was scooped that the LS7 was on it's way?
