Yeah, I'm on my way home from Nebraska, but I showed up at the showsite this morning bright and early to load the last truck and the guy was late. So That was a 3 hour disaster that set me back. Now I'm missing a party that my wife went to. SO instead of taking me, she took her girlfriend. Damnit....

I got my new car today and at the dealer he came up and used the remote start to start the car, then handed me the key, I noticed it did not have to trunk open button and he needed a different key for me. Ho got me the keys and while I tested the door locks, trunk open, I forgot to try to remote start it.

Later tonight I just realised it must not be programmed for this set, I just don't know the magic set of buttons to push to sync them up. Dealer is closed tomorrow and even if I find an open dealer I doubt they will want to set-up my keys...

Still odd how everything on the remote but the remote start works...

Notta in the owners manual, searched the forum and the net and not turned up anything either. Thought perhaps one of the insiders here knew they might share...

On the first remote he had, looked exactly like the regular one, except that the lower left button was blank, it was still a button, but no icon on it, on my other two, that is the trunk open and to the right of the is the broken circle with the arrow to remote start, that does not work on either key.

I was just guessing it may have been a mix up in the keys that was the issue.
