Does anyone know about a dealer option called Nano Bond? It is supposed to protect the paint/clearcoat, as well as other exterior parts. Sounds like it goes on like a wax, has a 5 year warranty. blah blah blah.

Plans: Try to get the brakes done on the Edge (or at least checked out). Called the rents and they said that she was due anyway. Kistler has the warranty work records though, so I'm hoping i can get 'em faxed from there to the local dealership. I'm loving the change here, guys. Hopefully no more drama..

So let NT know.. she bitches to me about that it seems.

Word of the wise, guys. The Edge is everywhere, but what I'm finding is that my 07 is almost a rarity. The car is so popular.. like the Camaro now. But if the whole economy + Performance + HOLYCRAPJESSICAALBA looks keep going, it'll be one of those "How do you identify a 67 from a 68?" thing for the 2010 -> 2011/12.

Which is always my favorite argument at home with the 'rents. MY mom is such a 1st gen aficionado wanna be, it's hilarious.

When I talked to a recruiter, he said since I like to work on cars, I could just do it for the Marines. So yeah, you can pick your job. But if you suck at the job, I'd think they would direct you toward something else.

Well I am back with the car, will post some pics later, have chores to do now...

I have no bought the Nano Bond yet, but the price seems good for the protection they offer, I will do some more homework on that.

The best thing is that the dealer agreed to put on the split rally stripes on covered under the same install price I already paid for the solid stripe. (I still have to buy the split rally stripe...)

So far I am just having fun trying to find out what the buttons all do, I will eventually read the manual, but I like to see if I can figure these kids of things out on my own first.
