The biggest issue with the Z06 is the small frontal area. You can only fit so much grill opening in the small nose it has. ZL1 definitely doesn't have that issue. It probably has 3x more grill opening. Plus GM redesigned the supercharger cover for better cooling and added heat exchangers, both of which the 2017 Z06 have now.
