On a related note, I have a close friend who knows David Tubb personally.
He's a pretty good salesman, that's a good inexpensive place to start. I'm building a 16" lightweight, probably use the Tubb springs in it, not much more cash...

He comes across as pretty down to earth, and definitely knows his stuff!

On an unrelated note, here's an awesome waste of time, better than anything on TV! Dude is kinda crazy!

At 1:56 in the video, I would have hit the guy so hard in the face he wouldn't know what day it was for POINTING THE RIFLE AT ME.

You do realize the upper and lower were SEPARATED @ 1:56.

I think MGD was referring to the guy standing over him.

That rifle was hanging from a sling.

Saw that too, still seems a bit careless/sloppy.

I'd run to a Lowes, HD, ACE, and A #60 O-ring. If they worked, I'd order this:
http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-E...exspring-1.htm
The reason is because the hardware store version will likely be buna rubber and will deteriorate. The others are viton. With the BCM kit, you may not need it because the spring is so strong. It would be a cheap test to see if it fixes it.
I got an o-ring from the machine shop. Installed it and shot 6 rds, 2 at a time.
First rd fail to eject. 2nd rd ejected and bolt stayed back.

Next 2 rds ejected and bolt stayed back.

Same with last two rds.

So, it was better, but still not perfect. Maybe the first round didn't eject because the o-ring was seating, I'll pop off a few more tomorrow probably.

I ordered the Tubb springs the other day, can pick them up monday. (He ships FAST)

Got the Tanfoglio Mossad out today and warmed it up. CZ pistols and their clones are fine shooters, just stay away from the models with the slide mounted safety. The steel frame models, once loaded with 16 or 17+1 of 9mm are probably too heavy for all day carry, but there are poly lower models that are probably comparable to Glock in weight.

I have two Tanfoglio's now, I'd buy another, or CZ, or clone in a heartbeat.

Shot 16 rds thru the AR15, 2 at a time. All good feeds and bolt back. Looks like the o-ring did it

That's good to hear. Glad you got it fixed. Ill need the expertise of you guys here since I'll soon be an AR15 owner. Pics to follow. I ordered my Adams Arms AR yesterday and it should be home soon. I have to work on a set of fold down sights for it though. I already have the red dot for it so I'm good there. Any suggestions on a set of irn sights? Thanks guys!
