I'd say him being a f'ing asshole and incompetent and a small-d#ck show-off was the main factor ...

a. He is defending the car....not the owners.

b. I think he is just saying respect the car. He is not saying it is faster, more efficient etc. But it is almost as good as Chevy cars, which are also as good as Dodge's or Ford's. To say Camaro is competing with a gimmick car is disrespecting Camaro as well, no?

Agree 100%. He popped out of the car laughing it off when he should have been apologizing. Everyone does something stupid - its how you react afterwards that defines the moment.

Yes, I did use those words (not ''that'' word) and I defended nobody. Get your facts straight before you type away.

Some of you guys are so damn brand loyal you can't even respect something special because you see through blinders.

I respect Ford's advancements just as well as GM's...give it a break.
Everyone here respects the GT350. It is clear, if you are an objective person, that it can run innocent bystanders over faster than most any car out there.... that is, until the GT500 comes out!!

I did this once in the wet and once on dry pavement when I first began driving a rear wheel drive car (95 Z28).

I thought "watch this I'm going to be cool and tweak my front wheels so my back end will kick out sideways and then I'll just power through until it's straight".

Once the vehicle is in a slide with some momentum built up it's difficult to gain control. And momentum builds quickly with a V8. Once they realize that they are in trouble and losing control they likely lift off the gas and lock up the brakes and then all bets are off.

Bare feet doesn't matter.

p.s. I never got in an accident and it wasn't at a cars and coffee. Just my pride and a big slice of humblepie.

When the 1995ish Firebird with the Ram Air came out, my friend in the Navy bought one. One week later, he curbed it since he had never had a 300+ HP RWD car. But he didn't come close to killing a family like this clown did.

Since this is a "Mustang Idiot's" thread... I wish I had my dash cam but was in my wife's Camaro today. I was driving to Tampa on I-4W getting onto I-275N in the right lane (only lane to exit to I-275). Some dick in a 16 or 17 Mustang doing at least 60 cuts across 3 lanes of traffic where I-4 is ending, through the line-split median for the off-ramp and "squeezes" into the line of traffic getting onto I-275N. At this point he is maybe 8 cars ahead of me.

Everyone shuffles onto I-275 and I get out into the center then left lane and I'm up to speed at 75MPH with no cars near me. The Mustang is stuck behind some slow truck with a car to his left so can't go anywhere. About a mile down the road, here he comes weaving in and out doing at least 90 coming within inches of many vehicles. I'm still in the left lane and it's now 4 lanes (1 being left, 4 being right), with the 5th right lane being an Exit Only. He gets into that lane about 1/8th of a mile from the exit to get around 2 cars and barely misses the front end of the lead car while trying to avoid the barricades of the off-ramp. He proceeds to shoot over to lane 2, guns it, then slams on the brakes to shoot back over to lane 4 and off the next exit ramp still easily doing 60. I just hung back in lane 1 when all this was going on and in total disbelief that he didn't hit anyone. This all happened over a 2 to 3 mile stretch.

I know I've seen idiot Camaro drivers too, but this guy was just a f'n dumbass.

I see sh*t like that in the Boston area, too. For some reason it is often Altima drivers.

I haven't yet found the time to mess around with my Camaro with the TC, etc., off, but when I do it will be on some kind of big wide open parking lot or something closed off, so I can get a feel for it without putting anyone or anything in danger.

I can only imagine how expensive the repairs will be to that guy's mustang. Did you see the angle of that rear wheel?

Maybe the wing on the back is installed wrong and got too much wind under it. Thing is pretty big and ridiculous.

I think he should play it safe and blame it on a spider. That seems to work.

I see this BS almost daily - just this morning a big chevy truck nearly ran me off the road - downhill, two lane road with a long right turn lane, instead of just waiting for the turn lane behind the guy next to and behind me, he gets behind me, guns it to get in front of the guy in the right lane, I have to swerve left to avoid being rear ended...

I mean people are just fcking dcks.

Oh, BTW, nobody will ever accuse me of driving slow....well, except people like this moron.

but yeah, daily a-holes, and I'm honestly surprised there aren't more accidents.

Also, if you are in the Denver area, and you get into a fender bender and cause an hour of backups because you wanted to drive 2 inches behind the guy in front of you doing 65, I'm the guy that drives by and yells "Learn how to drive you jerk!!".
