Actually ALL car engines "suck". Otherwise, they wouldn't run.
A catch can is simply a "suck filter"!

I love these threads. people talk about their V8 as though it were a mazerti or something. Now, I'm glad I bought my car, and i have enjoyed it. but being 43 and having owned a lot of cars, my camaro is hands down the crappiest one I've ever owned. yes, it looks beautiful. and yes, it's fast and handles well. but when it comes to build quality, materials, the way trim and panels fit together...................it's not even up to kia standards. I'm pretty sure if I wanted to I could pull half the interior apart with my hands. uneven gaps everywhere, everything moves when I push or pull on it, air bubbles under the leather, and plastics so cheap they make my keyboard look luxurious. not to mention my CEL just came on, out of warranty of course.first time that's happened since, well, since I last bought a domestic car.

again, love the car, didn't buy it for those things. I got exactly what I expected. but some of your guys need to come down off your high horses and pedestals. the camaro (and V6-V8 interiors are much the same) is basically a poorly built car with cheap materials that looks good and goes fast. probably a pretty strong correlation between that and the 45% sales drop.

again, before all the flaming starts, love my car and will probably keep for another 10 years. but lets keep things real

This thread is just filled with trolls baiting the willing to amuse their self adulation of their own perceived self worth. Nuff said.

I think there should be separate forums for Camaro5 V6 and V8's. Two totally different mindsets. If I couldn't afford it I would have gotten a hardtop V8, and or a non-RS, higher miles, older year, previous lease vehicle, previous accident, higher deductible, generic gas, etc.

I wouldn't say V6 owners are, "grandiose blowhards," Around my town they're usually college kids or elderly gentlemen. But I've yet to see a Corvette owner that wasn't over sixty and balding either.

I was talking about the V-6 haters. Not all V-8 owners are 'haters'.

This world has literally gone mad.
There is an entire book written to try to convince people, "less is more." It gives the cheapskate plenty of rationalizations to hide behind.
