New Guy from VA - just placed my order!

I've been lurking your forums for quite sometime, but today we placed an order on a 2017 2SS Camaro Convertible, red hot, Kalahari interior, and dual-mode exhaust. I was split between training my wife how to drive a stick, or settling on an automatic.

The test hard-top 2SS we drove was an automatic, and I have to say I was quite impressed with the A8. There was just so much punch, and the paddle-shifters were snappy and fun. After the drive, my wife said she'd pay the additional money for the A8 transmission and that pretty much sealed the deal.

Our dealership told us 6-8 weeks before we receive our car, but it appears from the forums that two months to three months is more realistic. I look forward to having pictures for you to enjoy as soon as we receive the car!

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

There is supposed to be a nice car show this Saturday and Sunday at Fort Monroe in Hampton. Also during the summer months on Saturday evenings there is a little car show/gathering off of oyster point beside the Hardee's.Old and newer cars. Not sure how many more Saturdays they have since summer is coming to an end.
