I know, and it only has 40k miles on it. I was thinking half of what I put into it was about right. I'm sure someone will enjoy the car as much as I have. I figured Racergirl would be all over it, I mean, since it beat her on the track at CamaroFest.

A lot different. The planes are typically 20-40yrs old and they all have different avionics in the panel. A plane with a crappy panel can be worth $50k, while a panel with all the latest stuff can be worth $150k. Some have great interiors, and some look like they are straight out of the 70s. Some have engines that have recently been overhauled, and some have engines that are claimed to be recently overhauled, but in reality got overhauled in 1997 and have sat since then. That typically leads to corrosion in the engine, so most people look for a plane with 500-1000 hours since new or since overhaul. A plane with a timed out engine can drop $30k off the price of the plane. Newer paint is nice, but sometimes people will paint the plane to hide corrosion on the airframe, so you almost don't want a recently painted plane. There's a crappy crash course

That sounds way more involved and headache inducing that car buying lol but I guess they're somewhat similar
